With effect from 01 April 2025, nationals of the below listed countries will be required to apply for visas to enter Namibia, at a fee of N$1600.00 (in equivalent local currencies).
Passport holders of the below listed countries can apply for visas upon arrival at the following ports of entry (Hosea Kutako International Airport, Walvis Bay International Airport, Oshikango Border Post, Trans-KaIahari Border Post, Oranjemund Border Post, Noordoewer Border Post, Katima Mulilo Border Post, Impalila Island Border Post, Ngoma Border Post and Mohembo Border Post).
The availability of visas upon arrival is a complementary service and does not replace the traditional process of obtaining visas from official Missions. Travelers residing in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and Monaco, who wish to secure their visas in advance may do so by applying at the Embassy of Namibia in Paris, located at 42 Rue Boileau, 75016 Paris, France.

All visa application fees are inclusive of postage/return of the applicant’s passport via normal registered mail. Applicants are encouraged to make own arrangement if they wish to have their passport returned using alternative courier services (DHL, UPS, TNT).
TRAVELS TO NAMIBIA
Applicants from countries that have exemption to Namibian can travel without a visa endorsed in passport for Tourism/ Business and Official for stays up to 90 days (3 months) per calendar year. They will be allowed to enter into Namibia upon arrival with a Visitor’s Entry Permit (VEP) endorsement stamps at the Port of entry for the following reasons:
All visitors travelling to Namibia for business to work at their subsidiary companies, for example, to give training to local staff, conduct audits of their companies, volunteer work of any kind etc., are required to apply for employment permit/work visas in terms of section 27 of Immigration Control Act regardless of whether they are citizens of countries which are exempted.
